1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using UseVouchly ("the Service"), operated at usevouchly.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
UseVouchly is a payment-and-review automation platform for freelancers. It enables freelancers to create payment links, collect payments via Stripe, and gather client testimonials through an AI-assisted review drafting system. Clients always have the choice to edit, approve, or skip any suggested review.
3. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Payments and Fees
UseVouchly charges 0% commission on payments processed through the platform. All payments are processed by Stripe, and standard Stripe processing fees (currently 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction) apply. These fees are charged by Stripe, not by UseVouchly. Subscription fees for paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of upgrade.
5. Reviews and Testimonials
UseVouchly uses AI to draft suggested review text based on project details. These drafts are presented to clients as editable suggestions only. Clients have full control to modify the text, submit it as-is, or skip the review entirely. Reviews displayed on proof pages reflect content that was voluntarily submitted by the client. UseVouchly does not fabricate, post, or publish reviews without client consent.
6. Prohibited Use
You may not use the Service to: engage in fraudulent or deceptive practices; create fake or misleading transactions; harass or harm other users; violate any applicable laws or regulations; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or related systems; or use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our infrastructure.
7. Intellectual Property
The UseVouchly name, logo, and Service are the property of UseVouchly. You retain ownership of the content you create through the Service, including project details and deliverables. Client-submitted reviews are owned by the respective clients.
8. Limitation of Liability
UseVouchly is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for payment disputes between freelancers and their clients, the accuracy of AI-generated review drafts, any losses resulting from Stripe processing issues, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Existing payment links will continue to function for clients who have already received them.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email or through the Service.
